MovieDescription: BANGER SISTERS Cast: Susan Sarandon, Goldie Hawn, Geoffrey Rush, Erika Christenson, Matthew Carey, Robin Thomas, Eva Amurri. Directed by Bob Dolman. This comedy revolves around a mid-life reunion of two best friends, Suzette and Livinia (Vinnie), who were groupies in the late 60s. Suzette has remained a free spirit and still dresses in halter-tops, low-cut tee shirts, tight jeans and shiny pants. When she loses her job as a bartender, she heads from L.A. to Phoenix to visit her friend, Vinnie. On the way, she picks up a struggling writer who is headed to Phoenix to supposedly shoot his father. It turns out he was planning to commit suicide, carrying a gun with one bullet left. Vinnie is leading a charmed life, respectable in every way. Her attorney husband and two daughters know nothing about her past until her old friend arrives, still looking like a groupie. The MPAA Rating is R for language, sexual content and some drug use. Bad language is used throughout the movie from time to time. One of Livinia's daughters has taken drugs and had champagne on her prom night and vomits repeatedly on screen. She is caught in a sex act with her boyfriend one afternoon in the family swimming pool. Male nudity is shown. Suzette stays in the writer's hotel room and initiates having sex with him. Partial nudity is shown. Suzette eventually encourages Vinnie to loosen up. They go out for a night of drinking and dancing, and end up in Livinia's basement smoking some old marijuana and looking at old Polaroid snapshots of the private parts of all the rock band members they slept with in their younger days. Livinia's family sees her in a whole new way after this shocking revelation. Drinking, cigarette smoking and some drug use are shown. One instance of oral sex is implied.
