Vampires must turn for help from a vampire/human half-breed called Blade, who hunts them. Both humans and vampires are threatened by a mutant race of vampires. The MPAA rates this film R for strong violence, language, drug use and sexual content. Violence occurs in various forms like gunshots, swords, knives, and explosives. Bodies are torn apart by each of the above weapons. Hand-to-hand combat and martial arts violence also take place. Blood flows and splashes in many scenes. An autopsy of a mutant vampire is performed on screen. Vampire attacks and bites are shown on screen and are numerous. Willing participants are vivisected on screen as part of vampire sexual activity. Strong language is used often in the film. Drug use, in the form of marijuana and an inhaled substance, is seen on several occasions.
