MovieDescription: BABY BOY Cast: Tyrese Gibson, Ving Rhames, Tamara LaSeon Bass, Angell S. Conwell, Omar Gooding, Snoop Dog. Directed by John Singleton. A young black man is forced to grow up and away from his immature behaviors. The mother of one of his two children becoming endangered, and his mother and her boyfriend, serve as the genesis for his maturation. The MPAA rates this picture R for strong language, violence, strong sexuality and some drug use. Strong language is used continually along with obscene gestures and racially insensitive epithets. Profanity is also used. Violence occurs in the form of fistfights. Handgun violence is shown in a drive-by shooting where a man is shot several times in the chest. In another scene a fleeing man is wounded and then murdered at point-blank range. Domestic violence is discussed and seen in men hitting women and a woman striking a man. Several scenes occur showing men and women having sex, nude from behind or beside, and partial frontal nudity of women. Male to female and female to male oral sex is portrayed and referenced. Alcohol and drug use are seen. A woman is shown leaving a women's clinic after an abortion and refers to the procedure throughout the film.
