MovieDescription: BANGKOK DANGEROUS Cast: Nicolas Cage, Shaun Delaney, Steve Baldocchi, Chris Heebink, James Wearing Smith. Directed by Oxide Pang Chun, Danny Pang. In this action film, Joe is a remorseless assassin who travels the world carrying out his trade, successfully following the basic tenets of anonymity and leaving no loose ends. However, his luck begins to change when he travels to Thailand to undertake a series of jobs for a local gangster. The MPAA rates this film R for violence, language and sexuality. Joe hires Kong, a local pickpocket to run errands for him with the intent of killing him when the jobs are finished. He allows Kong into his world and begins to teach him to be an assassin, and he meets a woman. Package exchanges take place in a nightclub that features young female dancers in sexually explicit costumes. Viewers experience strong language in English subtitles. Killing is prolific in this film. Two people are assassinated before the opening credits begin. Not only are the assassination targets killed but anyone who gets in the way, or is potentially traceable, is also eliminated. Methods of killing are varied and graphic, including high-powered rifles, explosives and the resulting fires, and poison by injection. The characters often engage in high speed chases on foot, in cars, and even boats that cause considerable collateral damage and injury to innocent bystanders. Blood and gore occur throughout the film, including a persons entrails strewn about after an explosion and a murder/suicide by handgun.
