MovieDescription: ITS COMPLICATED Cast: Meryl Streep, Steve Martin, Alec Baldwin, John Krasinski, Lake Bell. Directed by Nancy Meyers. In this comedy, Jane and Jake have been divorced for a decade and have settled into separate lives. When the two meet in New York for their sons graduation, an innocent dinner turns into an affair. The MPAA has rated this film R for drug content and sexuality. The characters in this film drink wine as a way of easing social tension. Jake and Jane begin meeting for midday trysts, and lie to friends and family in order to cover up their affair. The intimate conversation that ensues includes sexually graphic references. Jake gives Jane marijuana to try out and then smoke with him, but Jane ends up smoking it with her love interest, Adam, the architect who is designing her house. Later she shares it with her ex-husband and future son-in-law. Jake and Janes oldest daughter shares living quarters with her fiancé. Jake appears in Janes bedroom and presents himself naked on her bed, using her laptop to cover his private parts. Unfortunately, the Web camera is operating and Adam sees more of Jake than he cares to.
