MovieDescription: THE GOODS: LIVE HARD, SELL HARD Cast: Jeremy Piven, Ving Rhames, David Koechner, Kathryn Hahn, Tony Hale. Directed by Neal Brennan. In this dark comedy, the long-time owner of an ailing car dealership calls in a group of professional salesmen to save his family business from bankruptcy. The charismatic leader of the group is Don Ready who inspires his team with hard drinking, hard selling and frequent trips to strip clubs. The MPAA has rated this film R for sexual content, nudity, pervasive language and some drug materials. Strong language including profanity, sexual innuendo, and sexually explicit conversation are pervasive. One protracted scene includes angels appearing to the main character to offer him guidance, which they sing, using profanity and sexually explicit language. Characters drink alcohol heavily and at least one scene shows a salesman snorting cocaine on the job. Viewers will see nudity from explicit drawings in a book, strippers pole dancing in a club and general promiscuity among the characters. A couple pokes fun at making love and marriage, calling them boring. One of the characters is a 10-year-old boy with an endocrine problem, making him appear to be older than he is. A female member of the sales team pursues him sexually, even though she knows he is underage.
