In this animated film based on the onset of the Ice Age, three animals form an unlikely union to save an orphaned human child. The MPAA rates this film PG for thematic elements. Humans are attacked and stalked by saber-toothed cats. A mother and child are forced to jump off a waterfall and the mother presumably drowns. The friendly animals are attacked and one is seriously injured. In another scene, a story is animated on a cave wall where a mother and young mammoth are hunted and presumably slain.
