MovieDescription: CROCODILE DUNDEE IN LOS ANGELES Cast: Paul Hogan, Linda Kozlowski, Serge Cockburn, Paul Rodriguez, Jonathan Banks, Jere Burns III. Directed by Simon Wincer This film is the third in a series about the adventures of the Australian outdoorsman. Crocodile Dundee agrees to move from the Australian Outback to Hollywood. He does so because the mother of his son needs to help run her father's newspaper in LA after his chief reporter is killed in a car accident. Once there, she realizes there's more to a story about a Hollywood film studio than meets the eye. Crocodile Dundee goes undercover to try to get to the bottom of the mystery. The MPAA rates this film "PG" for language and brief violence. In the opening scene, a large crocodile attacks Crocodile Dundee in his small boat. A friend of his has a similar fate. The couple in this film is not married, but live together with their 10-year-old boy. While in school in LA, the young boy literally smells a rat and stuns it with an eraser while his frightened teacher and classmates are watching. Once Crocodile Dundee spots some suspicious activity at the film studio, there are several chases involving guns and gunshots. Alcohol is consumed and there is one case of a drive-by mugging. Several scenes portray the incongruity of life in LA with life in the Outback. He also uses his switchblade in LA because it's his natural reaction to threats or surprises.
