MovieDescription: FREAKY FRIDAY Cast: Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, Mark Harmon, Chad Murray. Directed by Mark S. Walters. This film is a remake of the Disney classic about a mom and her teenage daughter who magically switch bodies for a day and learn what it means to walk in each other’s shoes. The MPAA has rated this movie “PG” for mild thematic elements and some language. When an appropriately placed “curse” by a wise old Chinese woman finds its mark with a feuding mother and daughter (the day before mom’s wedding) serious planning is needed as each has to convincingly “become” the other. To complicate matters further, they learn that their present situation can only be reversed by a selfless act that places the other person’s needs above their own. Some mild language occurs in the form of sibling rivalry banter between a teenage girl and her younger brother.
