MovieDescription: THE TOOTH FAIRY Cast: Dwayne Johnson, Ashley Judd, Stephen Merchant, Ryan Sheckler, Seth MacFarlane. Directed by Michael Lembeck. In this comedy, Derek Thompson is a has-been hockey star known to fans as The Tooth Fairya nickname he earned by knocking out his opponents teeth. Dropped back to the minor leagues because of an injury, Derek has become complacent and bitter, settling for being no more than a sideshow instead of facing his fears and reaching for more. The MPAA has rated this film PG for language, rude humor and sports action. Mild language is used. There is some mild violence on the ice as part of a normal hockey game, during which a hard hit from the main character causes an opponents tooth to become dislodged and fly through the air. Dereks personal disappointments and bitterness cause him to make hurtful cutting remarks to others, especially children. Derek finds himself at odds with the head of the Tooth Fairies, who sentences him to one week of hard labor as a tooth fairy. At first Derek stumbles and bumbles through his assignments, causing havoc in the homes he visits.
