MovieDescription: BECAUSE I SAID SO Cast: Diane Keaton, Mandy Moore, Lauren Graham, Gabriel Macht, Piper Perabo. Directed by Michael Lehmann. In this dramatic comedy, a woman takes out a secret personal ad to find a mate for the youngest of her three daughters, who is unlucky in love. The mother worries that the daughter is destined to be alone, until hope is renewed when the mother falls in love. The MPAA has rated this film PG-13 for sexual content, thematic material and partial nudity. In several scenes various couples are shown engaging in sexual intercourse, either clothed or under the bed sheets. Sexually descriptive references and dialogue are made throughout the film. Humorous references to genitals, sexual acts, homosexuality and infidelity are included. Several heterosexual couples and one female couple are depicted passionately kissing, including some with groping. Partial nudity includes scenes of women in their underwear, including thongs, and undressed under bed sheets. Some scenes feature one character viewing Internet porn with brief visuals of the computer. One female character is depicted as having sexual relations with two different men. The language in the film includes a few brief uses of mild profanity. Adults are depicted drinking alcoholic beverages socially.
