MovieDescription: BENCHWARMERS Cast: Rob Schneider, David Spade, Jon Heder, Jon Lovitz, Craig Kilborn. Directed by Dennis Dugan. Three underdogs, two of whom have no athletic experience or talent, come together to demonstrate for other "nerds" that they can achieve and have fun. An eccentric billionaire finances a baseball tournament between the three benchwarmers and all of the mean kids teams in the region. The MPAA rates the film "PG-13" for crude and suggestive humor, and language. Boys "pass gas" in each others faces. There are references to throwing animal waste onto "nerdy" boys. The trauma caused by bullying is brought to light in several scenes. Adult men are yelling at and threatening boys and men. An adult male couple is shown in homosexual "play." Crude and obscene language, as well as profanity, is used in the film. Slang references to male and female body parts are made. Alcohol is consumed by adults in front of children.
