MovieDescription: BE COOL Cast: John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Cedric The Entertainer, Danny DeVito, Christina Milian. Directed by F. Gary Gray. A former mobster who made it big in Hollywood gets involved in the music industry. He finds a talented artist he wishes to promote but encounters some of his old gangland problems. His street smarts and negotiating skills are put to the test to stay alive and help the talented girl. The MPAA rates the film "PG-13" for violence, sensuality, and language. Handguns are frequently drawn and used to threaten and intimidate. Several people are shot and killed at close range though little blood is shown. A man is beaten to death with a baseball bat, off screen. Punches are thrown in a number of scenes. Provocative and sensual dancing is featured in several scenes including women in strip clubs. No nudity is shown. Strong and mild language are frequent in the film. Profanity is pervasive. Racial epithets are frequently used. Sexual and derogatory language is used often. Alcohol is used in the film.
