MovieDescription: JIMMY NEUTRON, BOY GENINUS Cast (voices): Debi Derryberry, Rob Paulsen, Patrick Stewart, Martin Short. Directed by John A. Davis. In this animated science fiction film for kids, a bright young boy uses his imagination and innovation to build a variety of contraptions, including a spaceship and a satellite. His robot dog and his best friend are usually at his side during his capers. When aliens take all the adults captive, Jimmy and his friends enjoy their freedom, doing all the things their parents won't usually let them doeating candy and popcorn and playing with the water fountain. After the thrill of freedom wears off, the kids decide they miss their parents and embark on a space adventure to rescue them. The MPAA rating is G for general audiences. Some of the action scenes include meteor showers and asteroids. They encounter a mean king and a large chicken-like creature on the alien planet. There are some weapons and mind control devices used and some explosions in space occur. The kids face many of the usual growing pains in this adaptation of Nickelodeon's TV show.
