MovieDescription: THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE Voice Cast: David Spade, John Goodman, Eartha Kitt, Patrick Warburton. Directed by Mark Dindal and Roger Allers. In this animated film, a self-centered Emperor decides to destroy a small mountain village and build his summer palace in its place. He has an elderly man thrown from a window when the man happens to interfere with Emperor’s "groove." An older female advisor is fired by the Emperor, so she seeks revenge. Instead of being killing as planned, the Emperor is turned into a llama when he unknowingly drinks the wrong poison. As a llama, he encounters a peasant from the small mountain village and enlists his help in getting back to the palace and to "his old self." In their adventures back to the palace, they encounter a brood of black jaguars, bats, crocodiles and scorpions. They fall from a broken hanging bridge into a waterfall and experience numerous close calls. The MPAA rating is "G" for general audiences. The older female advisor has a rather sinister look with a black cape and long, dark eyelashes and fingernails. The palace has rather ominous-looking guards who remove unwanted intruders.
