In this teen movie, the title character from the television series by the same name finds herself in conflict with her father as she juggles her mega-stardom with her real life. The teen finds herself on a forced break from her public life and is able to enjoy a more normal day-to-day lifestyle in a rural Tennessee town. The MPAA has rated this film G for general audiences. The film contains no profanity or offensive language. Slapstick pratfalls and minor fighting occur in several scenes. In one scene two stars engage in a knock-down, drag-out fight over a pair of expensive shoes. Two teenage girls steal a golf cart to sneak backstage into one of the girls own concerts. A ferret crawls up a mans pants, causing him to remove them and reveal his boxer shorts. A teen couple and later an adult couple kiss romantically in subsequent scenes.
